I have a friend who was really into these vans in high school, and likely still is, been a while since I’ve talked to him. Anyway, I’d always told him that I’d build him pretty much exactly this some day.

It’s going to be a very long while before I would even consider buying a bus, there is a very long list of projects ahead of this one.
And sure, why not, and Merc 2 stroke I6 would be a pretty awesome car engine.
New idea! Open hood hot rod with a Merc 2 stroke I6, add that one to the list!

Should have used a Tatra V8 so he could have kept it air-cooled. Probably wouldn’t have had the same output, I suspect...
